CHEVELLE Likes Vein Of New Album Title
April 3, 2007Launch Radio Networks reports: CHEVELLE releases its fourth major label album, called "Vena Sera", on Tuesday (April 3) and the biggest question surrounding the disc is: what does that title mean? Drummer Sam Loeffler explained to Launch: "Actually it's Latin and it's two words that sort of don't necessarily go together, but basically it means 'vein liquid,'which could be interpreted as...it's not blood, but something else in your vein, maybe plasma or I don't know. But it sounds good and it's certainly a little bit morbid, and I like that a lot."
The first single from "Vena Sera" is called "Well Enough Alone". The band recently teamed with famed horror director Wes Craven for a contest in which fans could create their own video for the song. The winning clip was chosen by Craven and a link to it can be found at ChevelleInc.com.
CHEVELLE finishes up its current tour with EVANESCENCE on April 5 in Glen Falls, New York and will begin its own full headlining trek on April 7 in Mount Clemens, Michigan.
